To be honest I was always of the opinion that Marcotte was a lesbian. I kid you not. What level of mangina would you have to be to be attached to a female or in this case a snarky, self righteous, male hating, feminist who spends the entire day downgrading, abusing and humiliating all men and boys and in her hypocritical way, claim to be actually applying a tourniquet of unreality on what is obviously the neck of integrity, honesty and dignity..
Marcotte even tried it's hand at making recommendation to men on how they should behave in relationships (akin to asking a cobra to care for your pet mice) amongst other hopelessly blinkered advice that would have been as useful as a " how to survive a kidney stone" when a tornado is headed in your direction. Marcotte's passion for the ridiculous and practiced innuendo were exposed for what it really is. A load of supercilious crap that only a moron would swallow. To use that kind of advice, it would have been simpler to just hand over a whip, take off your shirt and take it like a man because that was exactly where it was heading. She will tell you what to do and assumes that it is not only totally sufficient and correct but has the temerity to bask in it's candlelit ambience although it did only try that type of advice once as far as I am aware as most who read that inane drivel are still smirking, getting over their splitting side aches and muscle strain..
This spiteful narcissistic individual is another one of the proud authors on the "good men project" and that should indicate precisely where the GMP alliances lie. Just another example of another capitulating fake site paying abeyance to feminism. Their where every word has to be authorised by Ms.Magazine as they are their main supporters if not the owners of that wimp infested site..
Marcotte also jumped onto the Testosterone Wagon and as usual, gets it wrong, what a surprise. A female telling men what to do with their sex live is bad enough but when she wandered into relationships it was completely out of it's depth for obvious reasons..

Marcotte likes nothing more than throwing in strawman argument so she presents an opportunity to rant and rage in her usual fashion to once again demonstrate and remove all doubt that she was hiding in the corner when the reality gene was being handed out..
So we have - married men, high performers, game, resent, theories, emotional, power, clogging, ability and rational. See what I mean about taking any and every opportunity to downgrade and humiliate men whenever it raises a finger on the keyboard. Now going by her remarks in relation to testosterone which is the topic of discussion but as far as Marcotte is concerned, you may as well be holidaying on the moon before she will even bother mentioning what the original topic is about, so far has she drifted out of context..
So what does Testosterone actually do, obviously not what feminists have been lying about..
Functions of testosterone
The major androgenic hormone is testosterone. Some of the functions of testosterone in the male body include:
- Starting and completing the process of puberty
- Bone and muscle development
- Growth of body hair, including beard
- Change of vocal cords to produce the male voice
- Sexual drive (libido) and sexual function
- Prostate gland growth and function

Now what is the point of all this, where does the "violence" gene or affect that feminists have been lying about for so long, all and sundry ignorantly see it as such. Why have they maligned testosterone when both sexes cannot basically live a normal life without it.. A girl's hormone too
Testosterone is also well known for its role in the hormonal hotbed that is male puberty. It promotes the growth of the reproductive tract, increases in the length and diameter of the penis, development of the prostate and scrotum, and the sprouting of pubic and facial hair.
As well as these androgenic, or masculinising effects, testosterone also drives anabolic, or tissue-building, changes. These include thickening of the vocal chords, growth spurts, development of sexual libido, and an increase in strength and muscle bulk.There's no denying these powerful physical effects which continue well into adulthood, and their driving force, hormones. But we feel compelled to box our hormones resolutely into those that belong to men, or to women.
Estrogen and progesterone are the so-called female sex hormones, and testosterone, the so-called primary male sex hormone. With that we assign our hormones impossible gender roles. But of course gender ain't that simple, and nor are our hormones.It turns out men and women produce exactly the same hormones, only in different amounts.
Men's bodies generate more than twenty times more testosterone than women, an average of seven milligrams per day. Women, via mainly their ovaries and adrenal glands, make a tiny three tenths of one milligram of testosterone per day (1). But it may come as a surprise to know that women's ovaries primarily produce testosterone, from which estrogen is then made. This ovarian production accounts for one-quarter of the total circulating testosterone in a woman's body.
Conversely, men's bodies produce their own all-womanly estrogen, converted by their tissues from their all-manly testosterone.Psychiatrist Dr Susan Rako, believes testosterone is as much a woman's sex hormone as it is a man's. She argues that the "amount of testosterone, tiny as it is, that a woman's body is continually producing is an essential amount." Rako's book, provocatively titled, The Hormone of Desire, is one of a growing wave of publications about the importance of androgens like testosterone to women's health. In calling it the hormone of desire, Rako maintains "testosterone is the hormone most critically implicated in the maintenance of libido, or sexual desire, in women just as it is men".
One could imagine those feminists sitting in their mother's cellar, whispering to each other, wondering what they could do to malign all men and boys and raise the "woman's downgraded image" and imply that all men are so inferior because they possess a certain hormone, in their opinion should be maligned as being the main problem women face because it causes all the "women are victims" situations but failed to study the fact that women carry that same androgens and without it they would end up to be just like them..
